Ma quanto è bello andare in giro con le ali sotto i piedi!🛵 Il tour in vespa, tra le colline delle Langhe, è stato un'esperienza davvero superlativa e anche la mia amica, alla quale l'ho regalato, è rimasta entusiasta!

Erano anni che, onestamente, non salivamo più su uno scooter, ma dopo la giornata di ieri, ci è risalita la voglia di averne uno!

Grazie mille a Claudia, che ci ha preparato un itinerario ad hoc e che è stata anche molto carina e gentile nel venirmi incontro, di fronte ad un mio primario rinvio del tour.

Unforgettable Honeymoon Weekend!!! Just getting married in September we planned our honeymoon around going places we never visited but always wanted to. Being huge fans of Barolo and Barbaresco wines, Piedmont Italy was one stop at the top of the list. We have been to Italy several times but never to the Piedmont area and hearing so many good things we wanted to make sure we got the best experience we possibly could. After looking online it was endless the amount of things we wanted to cover but very overwhelming trying to plan ourselves. Our main goal was visiting some vineyards as well as doing some other fun active activities such as truffle hunting and biking We reached out to a few tour operators, some more responsive than others and got sample itineraries including Slowdays and Claudia

After a few times responding back and forth it was clear that Slowdays was the best choice. Claudia was very responsive and super enthusiastic about helping to make our trip customized to our thoughts and ideas to maximize the experience.

We can be quite indecisive in our decision making process and even still Claudia was not overwhelming or pushy and quite pleasant to deal with. As other tour companies interest in us fizzled away Claudia continued to be responsive and helpful.

Claudia took our ideas and with her insight and experience put them into action to make this weekend a reality. Our final plan for the three day weekend started with a winery on Friday night followed by a truffle hunt just outside of Barolo center. Both truly remarkable experiences and the perfect way to kick off the weekend. Carlo accompanied his dog Buc was so knowledgeable and caring about the history and practice of truffle hunting, it gave us incredible perspective and appreciation for the trade. We didn’t expect much and got so much, we even found one black and one white truffle!

Saturday we did E-bikes by day through the hills of Barbaresco followed but two afternoon winery visits. All amazing experiences. Biking through the area and seeing the amazing rolling hills of magical grapes is truly a site to see and the perfect sequel to our night before.

Our weekend got even better when we got to spend the day with Valentina on Sunday. Valentina is an absolute doll! And not to mention she is extremely knowledgeable about wine, especially in the Piedmont region. She picked us up in her cool Fiat 500, and took us 3 different wineries in the Barolo area. We had great conversations with Valentina throughout the day. She was very easy to get along with and she felt like a close local friend, rather than a tour guide!

This was truly an unforgettable experience and it wouldn’t have been as perfect as it was without Slowdays, Claudia, and Valentina.

If you are planning a trip to the Piedmont area and want something truly remarkable, well thought out and budget friendly please don’t waste your time shopping around and call the best choice around Slowdays. We are so happy we did and you will too. And when you do please be sure to do some truffle hunting with Carlo and a day with Valentine two musts dos on your trip that Claudia will set up. Overall amazing place and amazing experience with the help of amazing people!

Genussrundfahrt im Piemont Im Internet sind wir über Slow Food auf die Seite von Claudia "Slowdays" gestoßen und haben ihr eine Anfrage für unseren Ausflug über Pfingsten geschickt.
Sie hat unsere Wünsche berücksichtigt und sich schnell um uns gekümmert. Schließlich haben wir uns ihr anvertraut und gebucht.
Im Piemont angekommen konnten wir nicht wissen was uns erwartet, doch es war wirklich etwas besonderes. Claudia hatte alles ganz gut geplant. Sie hat uns junge, moderne Betriebe besuchen lassen die den vollen Respekt verdienen mit dem was sie machen. Tolle Eindrücke. Suuper Essen. Genüssliche Weine in all ihrer Vielfalt. Detailierte Erklärungen der Produzenten und Gastgeber über ihre Lebensmittel und Herstellungsarten.
Wir können mit stolz sagen das Piemont und die Lebensart der Menschen dort gekostet zu haben.
Ein ganz besonderes und unvergessliches Erlebnis!!
