Usually you ride in single file, one behind the other, also thanks to adequate spacing between horses at a walk or trot. Have you heard of this before? These are gaits: the stride, the trot and the gallop. The stride is a slower and more stable gait, the trot and gallop are faster gaits. Usually during the first outing on horseback, galloping is not recommended, especially if you are a beginner or a child.
Although you may be a little fearful of an animal of this size, try to remain relaxed and make an emotional connection with the animal and you will see that you will really enjoy it.

Which one is your favorite?
Many other reasons are part of our experience for this kind of Tour/Vacation. I suggest you come to the Langhe to discover the other points. I am waiting for you!
If you have never ridden a horse, I will give you some ideas you may need. “Onion” clothing so that you can deal with even the grayest or wettest day and also be able to stay in short sleeves in hot sunshine. Comfortable pants, like long stretch jeans. Sports shoes. Everything else, such as a helmet, will be provided to you by the riding school. Remember not to wear scarves or accessories with strings or cords; they could get hooked on the saddle or get caught in shrubs.
First of all, you will not be alone! The staff who will help you will be able to reassure and teach you. But in the meantime, let me give you some basic information: riding a horse you always climb from the left side; with your right hand resting on the saddle and your left hand firmly on the top of the saddle. The first foot that goes up is the left going into the stirrup. A soft push will lift you into the left stirrup and then carefully pass your right foot over the horse’s body. Both feet in the stirrups, heels down.
In this case we are not just talking about an hour of horseback riding. We are talking about a complete experience, a day in which you will also have other experiences combined.
If you then get hooked on the sport you may find that it is not that expensive, and that, you may even think about having a horse of your own: but let’s not rush! Start by having a SLOW day and then the rest will follow.
